DESCRIPTION:Workshop mit Paula Gioia\nPublikation von La Via Campesian \nThis workshop may instigate participants to revisit their memories and lived experiences of ›peasantry‹. From there we want to review the development of agriculture’s history over the past 50 years\, in order to understand the current dynamics in the agropolitical arena and its relation to the eating and consumption behaviors of citizens in the global north. We want then to present to the participants the work and struggles of La Via Campesina\, the global peasants movement\, in order to feed humanity\, to protect the planet and to defend human rights. Perspektiven auf Ökologie und Moderne“ wird realisiert durch: Botanischer Garten und Botanisches Museum der Freien Universität Berlin (BGBM)\, Martin-Elsaesser-Stiftung\, Nachbarschaftsakademie im Prinzessinnengarten Kreuzberg und neue Gesellschaft für bildende Kunst (nGbK). \nGefördert im Fonds Bauhaus heute der Kulturstiftung des Bundes „100 jahre bauhaus“ und durch die Lotto Stiftung Berlin.” \n
