Ihr seid herzlich wilkommen Euch einen Vorgeschmack zum ReThink Festival #3, das im Sommer (1.7.2017) in Kollaboration mit ReFashion ReFood stattfindet, abzuholen! Mit dem Teaser-Festival starten wir in die ReThink Saison, damit kurbeln wir verschiedene Events und Aktivitäten in Berlin an, die bis zum ReThink Festival am 1. Juli stattfinden werden. Wir beschäftigen uns dieses Jahr mit den Themen Bildung und Kaffee. Dazu laden wir Kinder der Stadt dazu ein, das Festival im Juli mitzugestalten und wir sind super glücklich, sagen zu können, dass Café Orgánico Marcala – COMSA., Honduras beim Juli-Event dabei sein wird.

PROGRAMM:

13.00 – 14.00 Treffe die Flying Roasters, die dir von der Reise der Kaffeebohne, ihrer direkten Arbeit mit dem fairtrade-zertifizierten Bio-Kaffeeproduzenten und dem Röstungsprozess hier in Berlin erzählen werden.
13.00 – 15.00 Adopt a Bunny and Save the World! Lass dir zeigen, wie selbst eine ausgelatschte Socke noch einen Einfluss auf die (Kaffee-)Welt haben kann. Upcycle Socken mit der BunnyMission.org.
14.00 – 15.30 Natürlich-Färben-Workshop mit Hannah Schorch / erie Berlin. Lasst uns die Farben der Natur, die wir so lieben, auf unsere Textilien bringen! So verlängern wir die Lebensdauer der Blumen und Pflanzen durch einen wunderschönen Transformationsprozess – die Extrahierung der Farben.
15.30 – 17.00 Workshop (Tba)
17.00 – 19.00 Probiotic Bacteria Bar mit einer Prise Kaffee. Probiotic Cocktail Shots serviert von der Bacteria Barista, Alexis der Edible Alchemy CoLaboratory.

20.15 – 21.30 Filmscreening: La Finca Humana, ein Dokumentarfilm von Brian Olson, über eine Gruppe innovativer, unkonventioneller Kaffee-Farmer und ihrer Vision eine neue Gesellschaft in Honduras zu pflanzen.
(Brian und unsere Freunde von COMSA, werden beim ReThink Festival am ersten Juli dabei sein, um ihre Skills und wunderbare Philosophie zu teilen.)

Welcome to a pre-taste of the third edition of the ReThink Festival in collaboration with Prinzessinnengärten! The teaser-festival will kick off our ReThink Season and spark various events and activities around Berlin, leading up to the ReThink Festival on July 1. This year’s themes are education and coffee. We’re inviting children from around the city to take part in the creation of the festival on July and we are happy to announce the participation of COMSA (Café Orgánico Marcala S.A., Honduras) in the July event.

Come ReThink Fashion and Food, and ReClaim Culture! Explore solutions for sustainability and justice. DIY workshops, skill-sharing, talks, tastings, waste cooking, music, performances and lots of fun. Share and reimagine! Reuse, reinvent, upcycle!

PROGRAM:

13.00 – 14.00 Meet the Flying Roasters, who will tell you about the journey of the coffee beans, their direct work with fair and organic coffee producers and the roasting process here in Berlin.
13.00 – 15.00 Adopt a Bunny and Save the World! Learn how a worn out sock can have a impact on the (coffee) world. Come upcycle socks with the BunnyMission.
14.00 – 15.30 Natural Dye Workshop with Hannah Schorch (Eerie). Let’s bring the colors of nature that we love so much on our textiles and prolong the lifespan of flowers and plants through a beautiful transformation process of extracting color! (And we also open up for some experiments with coffee grains!)
15.30 – 17.00 Workshop (Tba)
17.00 – 19.00 Probiotic Bacteria Bar: A variety of Probiotic Cocktail Shots served up by Bacteria Barista, Alexis from Edible Alchemy. For the occasion also with a coffee twist. Enjoy a shot of Coffee Kombucha freshly brewed with authentic coffee from COMSA, Honduras!

20.15 – 21.30 Filmscreening of La Finca Humana, a documentary by Brian Olson about a group of innovative, unconventional coffee farmers (COMSA) and their vision to plant a new society in Honduras.
(Brian and our friends from COMSA, will be present at the ReThink Festival on July 1 to share their skills and beautiful philosophy).

Happy Designer Erika will be in place with her award-winning design, the Gaia Cabinet, to show you how to turn your household food waste into nutricious soil and start growing herbs in your own kitchen.
